Berry Cider
Ume is a fruit synonymous with Japanese blossom season and thanks to Neville from NZ Yuzu we've had the pleasure of working with Organic Certified Ume grown a stones throw away in the Horowhenua.
Umeko is the result. A six week maceration to extract all aspects of the Ume followed by six months of bottle conditioning to round out the acidity and texture.
The result is complex and progressive - unlike anything we've produced so far. Tasting notes do it no justice so you'll have to open a bottle and see for yourself.

Good George - Call off the search: You've found your summer drink. While others are fumbling with corks and serrated caps you'll be halfway through a glass of this beautiful Rose cider - and nobody will know what you're drinking. It's pink like a blushing nun, and it's fizzy like a. Fizzy...um, NUN (sorry, we're brewers not metaphors). You'll taste strawberry and vanilla and if you're concentrating, a little hint of lime but this is a cider, not an end-of-year exam. If you love drinking it, that's good enough for us.

Pere Jules cider is produced from no less than 20 different varieties of apples. This gives it a very nice balance between the sweet, bitter and acidic varieties. All of their products are made from apple and pear varieties that are carefully selected from traditional orchards of tall trees in a protected area of controlled production (AOC).
After a fermentation process and a light filtration, it is bottled in order to naturally develop its own natural gas. This gives it the fine bubbles.
You have in your hands the most crafty, bad-ass 'lil can brewed this cider the equator - lucky you!
In fact, this bad boy was crafted in the epic neighborhood of Morningside, a land full of locals that live on the bright cider life. Morningside is the proud home of Aotearoa's first urban apple orchard harvesting backyard apples every year to make a genuine neighborhood cider.
The same gang is also behind Dorkland's first cider bar, the Morningcidery, If you're ever in the 'hood, come say hi - there's a brew here with your name on it.

Brewing IPA hops with a dry cider? Sounds like a good time to us.
Apple IPA Cider is a burly, dry cider with a heavy dry hop, courtesy of some big NZ hop varieties - it pushes the boundaries and is made for the IPA and cider lover alike.
The artwork on the Apple IPA Cider can is inspired by the trailer park guy mural that used to be next to the Morningside train tracks, crafted by NZ artist, Paul Walsh.
