The words blanc de blancs are French for white of white, which is code for bubbly made entirely from Chardonnay grapes. This high quality wine is a creamy, fresh and vibrantly balanced bubbly which is made using the same winemaking techniques as champagne, only this wine is produced in the Burgundy region - north of the Champagne region.
Domaine Thomson is a New Zealand winery in Central Otago, the owners of which now also own a small amount of highly prized land in the Burgundy region in north east France.
The Saison Dupont biologique is a very thirst-quenchening beer with a outspoken bitterness and dryness.
You will discover a touch of citrus (especially pomelo) which even is a strenghtening of this thirst-quenchening aspect.
The long refermentation in the bottle ends up in a very complex but light beer.
5.5% ABV
Red marker sweet vermouth celebrates the coming together of Aotearoa?s finest wines, blended with Pinot noir brandy and handpicked botanicals from Sandymount Distillery.
Aromatic, vibrant, and built with deep rich dried stone fruit flavours underpinned by elaborate layers of botanicals with a spicy oak barrel finish.
The Potager Gin is a citrus-forward gin with floral notes, hand-crafted and single-shot distilled in small batches. This gin compliments our range with a unique flavour profile reminiscent of a french kitchen garden.
Botanicals:
Juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root, orris root, lemon, orange, grapefruit, basil, nettle and rose hip.
Unlike Bourbon or Rye, which, by definition, must be aged in new oak barrels, the US*1 Unblended American Whiskey is aged in a way that utilizes whiskey-soaked barrels to achieve a rich and unique flavor profile. Crucially, the US*1 Unblended American Whiskey never contains grain neutral spirits – hence its “unblended” distinction.
Nose: Polished oak, buttery corn and a kick of caraway spiciness.
Palate: Wonderfully creamy on the palate, boasting notes of butterscotch, golden syrup and sultanas.
Finish: Corn appears again, with peach and apple alongside it.
TASTING NOTES Our distilling team set out to create a gin that balanced the freshness and acidity of rhubarb and apples with a bit of warmth, sweetness, and spice from brown spices like cassia and nutmeg. The resulting gin is an apple & rhubarb crumble in a glass, a mixture of warmth and freshness perfect to enjoying a G&T, a Highball or a Fruit Cup. And because there?s so much natural fruit packed in this gin, a bit of haziness may develop overtime but that?s nothing to worry about? it?s just all the fruit reminding you it?s there!
PRODUCTION NOTES With Warner?s certified as a B-Corporation and Four Pillars certified as carbon neutral by Climate Active, sustainable distilling is a huge focus for both of us, which meant looking slightly left of field for waste products which we could extract amazing flavours from, such as cacao shells and fig leaf. Post-distillation is where the main flavours from both regions come into play - the rhubarb juice from Warner?s, and apples from the Yarra Valley make up the heart of this gin. In fact, three separate liquids are blended into the gin after distillation; rhubarb juice, apple juice and an apple cider spirit. These brings freshness, sweetness and crisp acidity to both the palate and the nose
Clos de Ste Anne is a steeply sloping hillside vineyard facing north east in Gisborne and is also the name of this outstanding full bodied with its bold layers of complexity. Vanilla, almonds, peachy flavour notes all combine in this wine, which also has nuances of freshly whipped butter, a creamy texture and smooth style that makes it a winner.
This wine is certified organic and biodynamic.
A compelling dry Chenin Blanc that is delicious now and has such great fresh acidity that it will age superbly as well. The bold natural freshness of La Bas Chenin Blanc drives flavours of honey, white fleshed peach and green apples, a hint of beeswax here and a touch of dry grass there. This is a stunningly structured, full bodied white wine balanced by bright and bold zesty citrus flavours. It's gorgeous now and can up for up to a decade in good storage conditions; cool and dark.
This wine is certified organic and biodynamic.
Laurent-Perrier Brut NV is enjoyed for its creamy softness which comes from Chardonnay, the dominant grape in this elegant sparkling wine.
The Laurent-Perrier Champagne house was founded in 1812 and is the main company of the Laurent-Perrier Group, whose other flagship brands include the houses of Salon, De Castellane and Delamotte. Laurent-Perrier Group also acquired Chateau Malakoff in 2004.
One of the great pink champagnes, combining toasted red fruit flavours and the freshness of a great, complex wine with long lees ageing. Delicious.
Champagne Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by Andre Michel Pierlot and took the name Laurent-Perrier when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, the widow of Eugene Laurent, combined the two family names after she decided to expand the business.
Eugenie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939.
