Red Ale
A trailblazer when first released in 2009, Hopwired was one of the world's first IPAs to be brewed exclusively with New Zealand hops. Today it's as unique as ever, delivering an enticing punchbowl of tropical fruit, citrus and gooseberry flavours balanced by mouth-filling caramel malt sweetness.

Evocative by name and by flavour, this is a luxurious malt beer with body to burn, rich complexity and bright hoppy flavours.
Its makers say it has "A potent perfume of ripe fruit wrestling in pine needles enchants the senses, and an abundance of US hops and balanced malt fullness round out the punchy flavours. This beer is perilously good and dangerously palatable, drinker beware."

You?ll recognise the same great flavours of O?Hara?s Irish Red with trademark hints of sweet caramel and mild nutty biscuit, all amplified with a smooth creamy mouth feel and a nice warming finish.
Dark ruby red in colour and pours with a dense smooth creamy head. The addition of a pinch of roast barley during the brewing process lends a distinctive bite which is balanced by a crisp medium bitterness. The caramalt flavours follow all the way to the end.

Be a rebel without a cause. This Irish Red Ale makes being a revolutionary easier then ever, thanks to the smooth, clean, dry taste, with hints of chocolate, and red berries. Of course, like any good insurgent, it has an ever-so-slight bitterness - only with a lingering malty finish. But the only uprising that's really necessary is the lifting of the can.

Barrel aged sour red ale
Inspired by the Flanders Red style, this special sour ale is brewed using a generous portion of dark malts, then aged for an extended period in a mixture of wine and whiskey barrels creating a rich red-brown beer with lifted notes of tart fruit, cherry, plum, vanilla and dark chocolate.

Proudly echoing English brown ales, the Glutenberg Red is renowned for its great complexity, both in its manufacture and in its taste. Brewed from two types of chestnuts, each requiring its own specific roasting method, this smooth beer with a hint of toasted nuts reveals a unique coffee and caramel taste. She stands out in all the charts, with good reason!

With predominantly local hops and slightly above-average alcohol content, our Red IPA has the same confidence and individuality that characterise our own former colony. Tantalising passionfruit aromas give way to a delightful and unexpected combination of berries, tart ruby grapefruit and a comforting toasty malt on the palate, rounded off with a satisfying, sustained finish.

sage, grapefruit & herbal notes
For our 51st release in this stellar series, three special hops do some serious melding for one hell of a stellar pour. Talus brings sage & white grapefruit to the table while Cascade shines soft, pink grapefruit & classic floral notes on the mix. Ella backs it all up with tender herbal notes & a thread of liquorice. It's utterly delicious! Tell your customers to drink fresh & be seriously rewarded.
