Red Ale
sage, grapefruit & herbal notes
For our 51st release in this stellar series, three special hops do some serious melding for one hell of a stellar pour. Talus brings sage & white grapefruit to the table while Cascade shines soft, pink grapefruit & classic floral notes on the mix. Ella backs it all up with tender herbal notes & a thread of liquorice. It's utterly delicious! Tell your customers to drink fresh & be seriously rewarded.

The 802 Series is all about hops and fun! That's why for 6.8% ABV 802 #54 Fresh Unfiltered IPA we chose a combo of US hop fan faves that are ours, too. Strata rolls in with strawberry, passionfruit and dank sage while Citra reliably compliments it all with big citrus and tropical fruit notes. All in all, a brilliant addition to the 802 lineup.

GOOD PEOPLE UNFILTERED IPA
ABV 6.5%
This IPA is for all the good folks out there, the ones who appreciate a good beer as much as all of us here at the brewery. To make this extra special for our beer-loving friends, we jammed it with ridiculous amounts of Amarillo and Citra for explosive sun-ripened citrus and tropical fruit on the nose and palate underpinned by a lean malt base hinting of peach. Smooth bitterness leads to a rewarding finish, the most perfect end for beer-loving friends everywhere.
Taking its name from our fave local jumping off point into the briny blue, Jump Rock Unfiltered IPA starts with one of our signature unfiltered IPA bases before we load it with heaps of Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe hops. All gooseberry, citrus and fresh pine needle up front, those flavours are mirrored on the palate alongside a hint of toffee and soft malts.

Flavour notes for this one go: “mahogany goodness with mango, melon and mandarin on the nose, and pineapple...” – ah, whatever, I don't have my reading glasses and Dean’s handwriting is hard to decipher.
I think it says “raisin and pine flavours”? Hmm. I've never been good at identifying all these little fruit tastes, maybe people just make all that stuff up? I get more of a caramel thing from it. Anyway it's awesome – personally, this one is my favourite..

Our third and final Red IPA of the season is built upon a heavy malt base from NZ and the UK, along with 4 other speciality grains that impart both a comforting malt-forward backbone and a beautiful amber hue. The bitterness is slightly restrained here allowing the double dry hop of Simoce, Sequoia, and Ahhhroma to pop and shine. Expect a little malty number that?s chock full of hop character and the crimson colour of autumnal nostalgia.

Rodenbach Vintage 2015 is a unique unblended Flemish Red ale that is matured for 2 years in standing oak casks (foeders). Brewmaster Rudi Ghequire hand-selects the best beer from a single foeder for each Vintage year.
Rodenbach Vintage 2015 has an acidic, appley fruitiness combined with caramel, wild honey and oak with a touch of vanilla, cherry and licorice. The aroma consists of touches of caramel and oak, as well as green apples mixed with honey and chocolate. The slightly sour, fruity aftertaste is long and nicely balanced, just like a Grand Cru wine.
The cask number always appears on the label, and the year refers to the start of maturation.
