Classic Lager Taste. Half the size. Meet 2.3% ABV Northern Light Vienna Lager. Crisp lager profile upfront with cracker-like aroma. It drinks smooth & hits above its weight with a surprisingly full body for such a low ABV beer. Toasty & bready malt palate hints of biscuits to a clean, dry finish with just enough bitterness to keep it refreshing.

Menabrea is matured gently in the perfect temperature of our cave cellars for a taste of superior clarity. This 4.8% ABV pale lager is well balanced between citrus, bitter tones and floral, fruity undertones giving a consistent and refined flavour. It has a complicated malty, hoppy taste with an exceptional head retention due to the quality of our ingredients and maturation process.

For our Aecht Schlenkerla Weichsel red lager, we dry the malt over fire with high-quality cherry wood (not over beech wood fire as with classic smoked beer). In contrast to the spicy beech-smoked malt, the cherry wood smoked malt has a fruity, almost sweet smoke aroma and provides a copper-red color in the glass. The finest aroma hops add berry notes to the multi-layered smoke flavor. With 4.6% abv, Aecht Schlenkerla Weichsel is a full-bodied, pleasantly quaffable beer.

McLeod's flagship beer and trophy winner for Best International Lager at the 2017 Brewers' Guild of New Zealand Awards, this is a proper Lager matured for a full six weeks before release. Expect a sparkling light-gold colour with ripe melon and stone fruit aromas. Crisp but layered with ?biscuity? malt, it finishes dry with balanced bitterness.
Chilli Mexican Lager
Once a summer keg only creation, we now have so much demand that we decided to package this spicy delight. Still made with local Gisborne corn, all NZ malts and then sat to rest on Fire Dragon chillies from Northland. A refreshingly dry lager that has just a touch of fire and flavour from our mates up north.

L?wenbr?u is still produced in Munich, Germany. This best selling German Beer has a refreshing yet characteristic taste. With it being slightly dry, spicy, with a trace of malt and delicately bitter, it makes for the most moorish taste.
