At the end of the 19th century, wines from Tarragona enjoyed great prestige internationally. At that time, our Padró ancestors were making liqueur wines in the style of the “great wines” of the time: Port, Sherry or Sauternes, among others. In 1947, these fortified wines were the first to be regulated within the Tarragona Denominación de Origen or Appellation and were given the name Tarragona Clásicos.
VINIFICATION
We wanted to make a vermouth using a sweet Tarragona Clásico-style liqueur wine aged for 5 years in 7,000-litre oak vats and which we have been using at the winery for generations. We add a small amount of this wine to the solera wine in the final vermouth coupage together, of course, with our special touch of vermouth herbs.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Intense and striking. Powerful aromas from the prolonged ageing: dried figs, roasted hazelnuts and green walnuts
Mouth: Warm and rich at the beginning, giving way to liquorice and medicinal herbs, encased in sweet notes, and a bitter tang.
Vermouth made from a unique infusion of aromatic herbs and aged in the barrel before bottling at our winery.

Pineau des Charentes, (Pineau Charentais, or simply Pineau) is a regional French aperitif, made in the d?partements of Charente, Charente-Maritime and, to a much lesser extent, Dordogne in western France.
Pasquet Pineau Des Charentes Blanc is a bright straw colour. With Aromas of manuka honey that leap from the glass over stewed apricots, some toasty notes, a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. Light and silky entry quickly builds into a sensational semi-sweet burst of fresh apricot and spice carried by gently warming spirit. Seamlessly integrated and perfectly balanced with excellent palate length. Finishes clean, drying and refreshingly grapey with a subtle but persistent aftertaste of manuka honey, apricot nectar, almond and spice. A superb drink. 18% Alc./Vol.

The brand is owned by;Pernod Ricard. Becherovka is often described as having a gingery or cinnamony flavor.[citation needed];It is made from a secret recipe based on a wide variety of herbs and spices. Its alcohol content is 38%;ABV;(76 proof). It is usually served chilled, though some serve it with;tonic water, making a drink called a;beton;(becherovka and;tonic) which means "concrete" in;Czech,;German;and several other languages. The inventor of Becherbitter was Josef Vitus Becher (1769?1840). Apart from trading in spices and colonial goods in his shop, "Haus zu den drei Lerchen? ("At the Three Skylarks?), he also produced alcoholic beverages. In 1794, he rented a;stillhouse;and began to experiment with hard alcohol. Following the example of his forefathers, he also served in public office (as councillor, mayor and portreeve). Josef married twice (his first wife died of pneumonia) and had a total of 16 children, though only five daughters and two sons outlived him. Josef?s son, Johann "Jan" Nepomuk Becher, took over in 1838. From 1998 to 2003, a Slovak version was also sold, manufactured by Zdenek Hoffmann in;Doma_lice;(formerly Taus) in Bohemia, who claimed that Alfred Becher had given his grandfather the recipe in 1939, with the right to manufacture the product, as he was worried that the secret might not survive the war. Hoffmann was unable to prove this in court, and in 2007 was sentenced by the Doma_lice district court.
