Laurent Martray Brouilly La Folie 2019

Traditional style Beaujolais but made with a light hand, this is brim full of juicy, aromatic ripe dark juicy berry fruit with touches of rock salt. Fruity but crispy and racy, this is mouth-watering Cru Beaujolais at its best. Laurent Martray has a small holding of well situated vines, planted next to Chateau Thivin vines, on prime south/ south east facing slopes. Made from half whole bunch and half-destalked fruit, macerated and then aged in used oak foudres for a year.
