A Kiwi take on the German Kolsch style. The city of Cologne is known for its crisp, clean, refreshing golden ales that combine elements of lager and ale brewing techniques. North End has taken the style and has injected some fruity New Zealand hops into the equation making for an unmistakably pacific tinged interpretation of the style.
Kolsch style beers are popular in the brewpubs of North America where American brewers have taken their love of big hops and have introduced their own hop varieties into the style. They have taken their cue from the American brewers and have used two Nelson grown hop varieties Pacific Jade and Pacifica to give Pacific Blond a lightly herbal, citrus edge.

Our Amigo Mexican Amber is based on one of our favourite Mexican beers, Negra Modelo and technically is considered a Munich Dunkel. Made with German lager yeast, all New Zealand Gladfield malts and malted maize corn, and NZ hops it is an authentic representation. This easy drinking beer is great for any occasion and goes well with any meal and enjoyed by all generations.

German Style Pilsner. Light and crisp, but with a pleasant malt sweetness.
Back when ladies were seen as vaporous, fragile creatures jammed into supportive hosiery, Fanny Fantham was suiting up as part of the first party to climb the pimply peak on the south slope of Mt. Taranaki. It?s known as Fanthams Peak to this day. We?re tipping our hat to Fanny?s alpine ambitions with the German Pilsner style lager.
What is a table beer?
Brewed to be lighter in alcohol, this sparkling farmhouse style ale has been aged in oak and lightly dry hopped with Wai-iti and Pacifica creating a beer that is dry, crisp and ever so slightly tart. It just might be the most refreshing thing you've put in your mouth.
Great with food or for any time you feel like a thirst quenching beer without the heavy alcohol. Table, table here we come.
