This is the original Supervenetian created by Masi in 1964 and internationally recognised as a wine of “stupendous body and complexity”, the prototype for a new category of wines from the Veneto inspired by the Amarone production method.

“Aromas of wild red berries, dark cherries and plums. There’s no mistaking the second layer in the bouquet revealing scents of steel, iron and a haunting graphite, leather and preserved red berry fruit core.
On the palate – flavours that show off what the nose suggests with wild red berries, preserved cherry, brown spices and leather. A light violet floral note hidden a little by the firm tannins with a velvet texture. Moderate+ acidity. Balanced , lengthy, memorable. Drink now and through 2026. “

The last day for Christmas orders is Monday 18th December at 5 am for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and the Tuesday19th December at 10am for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December.
