The Samuel's Gorge McLaren Vale sparkling Shiraz is a labour of love, from grape to glass.
Bottle fermented, riddled by hand then disgorged after 12 months on lees, the 2016 vintage is liqueured with Oloroso and Topaque unique to Australian cellars.
The Comet Tail opens with blackcurrant, dark cherry and Mirabelle plum before floating across your palate with savoury liquorice and clove. Finishing long with chalky tannins, this traditional method wine is fresh and vibrant.
Whether at a party, starting your weekend with bacon & eggs, or enjoying a dark, decadent dessert, the 2016 Comet Tail is the perfect accompaniment to any occasion.
Hot Tip: Try with scored and slow roasted pork belly on a bed of halved oranges and white wine, orange and star anise reduction served with green beans & shallots and a summer slaw.

We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday 18th December at 5 am for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and the Tuesday19th December at 10am for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December.
