Quite simply the best tonic water available in New Zealand. Made locally from imported Ecuadorian quinine. In fact they've built their own glasshouse in Ecuador to ensure the Cinchona Officinlis is of the highest quality available. Enjoy with Lighthouse Gin, Kah Tequila, or intriguingly Pere Francois Calvados. Some Cinchona Bark - the essence of good tonic.
This Pinot Noir Rosé is sourced entirely from the stunning Whenua Matua vineyard in the renowned Upper Moutere area of Nelson.
A deep coral hue in the glass, this single vineyard Pinot Rosé is layered with strawberry and sweet fig aromas that lead to a palate of melon, pomegranate and ripe cherry.
Finely balanced with soft phenolics and a mouth-filling creaminess, the result is a complex and refreshing Pinot Noir Rose.
Tom is Church Road?s most premium range of wines. This Syrah is made from incredible quality fruit from the Hawke?s Bay. The nose is rich, ripe and fragrant. Layers of dark berry and cherry fruit are supported by lifted violet perfume, warm exotic spice and notes of dusty cacao, vanilla, smoky charcuterie with a subtle underlying earthiness. On the palate, the wine is both luxurious and elegant with a plush texture supported by silky tannins, lending great length to the finish.
The Petit Clos range from Clos Henri is produced from younger vines on the Clos Henri estate in Marlborough and offers wines made to the same exacting standard as the top flight wines in their portfolio, but at a lower price point.
This little stunner offers youthful and fresh aromas of wild strawberries and bright red fruits which evolves with subtle layers of spice and liquorice. At first dominated by plum and cherry, the textural palate develops spice and toasted oak notes. Svelte tannins and juicy acidity carry this wine on to a gentle, peppery finish.
Clos Henri began 22 years ago in Marlborough when the French Bourgeois family expanded their winemaking from the heart of Sancerre in the tiny village of Chavignol to Blenheim, in 2001. Now that their vines are 22 years of age , the family feels that they are only now starting to reflect and express the taste of the land. This family retains their land and winemaking in Chavignol where they have made wine for 11 generations.
Handpicked, small batch fermented, and barrel aged in French oak,
the Gold River Pinot Noir offers exceptional quality and typicity at a good price.
The grapes are from a mix of vineyards found in Bendigo (57%), Pisa (32%) and Gibbston (11%). Fruit from these three subregions was fermented in small 5 tonne open top fermenters. Typical maceration was 21-24 days before pressing. The
wines went through MLF in barrel, and spent 9 months in French oak.
The Gold River Pinot Noir expresses fragrant red and dark fruit aromas, and a complex balance of fruit and spice on the palate.
This wine will drink well in its youth but will comfortably handle 3-5 years in the cellar.
A creamy, full bodied, deliciously complex bubbly made from a blend of two of the classic grapes used to make Champagne - Pinot Noir makes up 58% of this wine and the grapes were lightly pressed so that no colour is extracted from the Pinnacles Vineyard and 42% Chardonnay from the Om Santi Vineyard, fermented to 12.5% ABV.
This big, creamy, full bodied sparkling wine made in the traditional method - the same way as champagne. The Chardonnay went through malolactic fermentation, which adds the creamy notes. It was aged for two years on lees in bottle and given six grams of dosage at disgorgement, which makes this wine dry, fresh and long on taste thanks to the cool climate acidity which adds length and zesty drive.
Good George - Call off the search: You've found your summer drink. While others are fumbling with corks and serrated caps you'll be halfway through a glass of this beautiful Rose cider - and nobody will know what you're drinking. It's pink like a blushing nun, and it's fizzy like a. Fizzy...um, NUN (sorry, we're brewers not metaphors). You'll taste strawberry and vanilla and if you're concentrating, a little hint of lime but this is a cider, not an end-of-year exam. If you love drinking it, that's good enough for us.
4.5% ABV.
Behemoth Brewing - It is commonly said that drinking beer is like pouring smiles on your brain. And we would have to agree that a great beer does make our brain happy!
So, we thought we would take our love for Hazy IPAs and bring that down to a slightly more session-able Hazy Pale Ale; still loads of hops and loads of juiciness, but a bit more moderate on the alcohol. Turn that frown upside down and pour some smiles on your rain.
5.4% ABV.
