It features whisky drawn from a combination of Oloroso, virgin oak and red wine casks.

Palate: Cedar spices, milk chocolate, apricot, earthy peat, black pepper and a hint of charcoal.
Finish: Thyme honey, bonfire embers, dark chocolate tart.

Opened in 1825, just one year after distilling on a large scale was legalised, the Glencadam Distillery continues to produce its rather delicate Single Malt Scotch Whisky in the same fashion it did in 1825.

Palate: Rounded elegance. Clean crisp citrus tones. A pleasing harmony between a natural sweetness and the soft spicy oak.
Finish: Long and soothing. Rich, clean barley and gristy sweetness.
The Glencadam 10 year old won the award for Best Highland Single Malt Whisky 12 years and under at the World Whiskies Awards in 2009.
Back in 2000, the Glencadam distillery was mothballed only to be reopened three years later in 2003. In 2017, to mark 13 years since the distillery reopening, Glencadam release this 13 Year Old expression, name The Reawakening. Only 6,000 bottles were produced.

Finish: Sweet and fruity.
Andalucia is an autonomous region in southern Spain. Its capital is Seville but, more important than this city, is Jerez de al Frontera; the home of sherry (the word being an Anglicism of Jerez). Master Distiller Robert Fleming, carefully chose the best sherry butts from the ancient dunnage warehouses at Glencadam to create Reserva Andalucia. Once married together with bourbon casks, it was finished in Oloroso sherry butts from Andalucia. The fruitiness of the Glencadam spirit is balanced with sultana and sweet spice notes.
GlenDronach is, quite simply, the go to distillery for sherry aged whiskies. This large, imposing Victorian distillery makes whisky to match and some of their single cask offerings are as dark as night and like drinking liquid Xmas pudding and cr?pes suzettes.
This is the archetypal 12 year old, aged in ex-oloroso and PX sherry casks. The nose is rich and lifted with honey, caramel, treacle, vanilla sugar and prunes dominating. The palate is rich and rounded with dried fruit, sultanas and milk chocolate. A fantastic all-round whisky and a must for the cabinet at home.
Nose: An intoxicating burst of maraschino cherry, ripe bramble and dark chocolate with hints of orange bitters and walnut liqueur.
Taste: Honey-grazed apricot and ripe fig with a crescendo of black cherry, angelica and muscovado.
Finish: Long and enveloping with dark manuka honey, herbal bitters and dark chocolate.
This whisky has spent 26 years in a single Pedro Xim?nez puncheon, and packs white pepper and sherry-stewed apple in the nose. In the palate we have the sharpness of blackcurrant and raspberry, and a dose of espresso that leads into a beautifully-timed hit of sherry sweetness, balanced by dark and stewed fruits. Gentle tobacco and tannin evolve into an unctuous, warming finish.
