Te Mata Tasting Note
Coleraine '22 harnesses the energy and complexity of Te Mata cabernet sauvignon, on show at its highest level since the first Coleraine in 1982.
The beautiful floral aromas of lavender, violet, plum and blackcurrant, are all in orbit around the wine?s dark savoury core of tightly wound graphite, nori, coffee grounds, vanilla and tobacco. The palate is intensely concentrated, with a superbright tension building freshness and precision as layer upon layer of fine polished tannins give pinpoint detail alongside signature, exacting, levels of finesse.
Coleraine '22 is a modern reprise of what makes Coleraine iconic, a wine balancing past and future, heritage and innovation. This is a statement wine, one that lingers both on the palate and in the mind.
Dry and delicious quirky white blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and Chenin Blanc. Three well known white grapes that find a delicious equal footing of expression in this lovely dry, complex white which offers fab value for money. Dan Brennan began life in the music industry before turning his talents to winemaking.
Drink with toasted salty almonds for a fabulous contrast with the opulence of the wine.

Originating from East Coast USA, the New England or Hazy IPA style de-emphasizes hop bitterness and showcases hop flavour and aroma reminiscent of tropical fruit juice.
We?ve brewed our first hazy IPA with a juicy combination of Maris Otter & wheat malts, oats, and a truck load of tropical fruit driven hops from NZ, Australia and USA.

Pinot lovers will adore this spicy, earthy and juicy medium bodied Pinot Noir from Marlborough's Southern Valleys, where elevated hillside vineyard sites benefit the early ripening Pinot grape. This is a great red with structure and impressive flavours for drinking now and also for cellaring, if willpower allows.
"A family recipe since 1926"
Like being smacked in the face with a log of soft-eating liquorice. This little green fairy packs a PUNCH!
There are several different ways to drink this spirit: one of which is to drink it straight. Only absinthes of the very highest calibre taste good straight and we?re proud to boast that the No8 Absinthe tastes great even at these rocket fuel-levels.
Not everyone is prepared to wrestle the green fairy at full strength and many a bar will burn absinthe-soaked sugar until it caramelises and then add it, still burning, to the rest of the measure. The flames can be put out by adding cold water, which will bring the absinthe roughly to a reasonable 38% ABV to be savoured, preferably in a crystal glass.
With its fresh, marine notes, this is a perfect expression of the authentic style and qualities of Ile de R? Cognacs. The grapes have naturally higher iodine content than those harvested on the mainland. In addition, the island?s mild climate helps to bestow a truly individual character on the eaux-de-vie it produces.
Distilled on the lees to enhance the original flavors of the eaux-de-vie from which it is produced, Ile de R? Fine Island Cognac is then aged in an extremely damp cellar to add greater roundness, using lightly toasted oak barrels that provide an extremely delicate woody flavor
Ripe powerful aromas of blackberries combine with black olives and spice in this great expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from South Australia. The wine is deep crimson with aromas of lifted berries, spicy oak and a medium body.
A keeper for at least a decade and also drinks well now, decanted for two to three hours and served in large glasses to accentuate its ripe dark fruity flavour spectrum.
Langmeil is owned by the Lindner family, which has been making wine for six generations in the Barossa Valley.
The September 2022 release of Cask Strength from Ardnamurchan, with a higher percentage of peated whisky compared to previous releases, aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, alongside unpeated, sherry-aged malt. Bottled at 58.4%, and non-chill filtered, this is a Highland single malt that's certainly on the smokier side.
