After creating our tasty coffee and vodka elixr, a certain someone had a few too many from the company stash and accidently (but fortuitously) siphoned whisky into our vodka tank. Call it Visky, Wodka, whatever, this cock-up of a concoction will give you a kick with full hoof. This Black Batch Coffee Liquor is the Black Goat of the family. A coffee liquor for shot takers and cocktail makers. Shake it, savour it, sip it or shoot it. Hell, we?re not going to tell you how to have a good time.
Traditionally made using the dried peel of the small Curacao orange, named after the island of Curacao in the Caribbean, Curacao liqueurs can be clear, blue or orange. The colours are purely decorative, but the bitter orange flavours are very similar. The cura?ao fruits are sliced and macerated in fine neutral spirit to extract the flavours. Once the blend has been enhanced with sugar and brandy, it is then left to marry for several weeks to develop its full flavour.Rarely consumed neat, De Kuyper Blue Curacao is a vital ingredient for various eye catching cocktails.source: in-the-spirit-shop.co.uk

The small Clark family swells over the summer months as old friends return to the farm in Tasmania?s Derwent Valley to help with the berry harvest. By now, the crop of Thornless Loch Ness blackberries has swollen with vitamins, antioxidants, and anthocyanins. These plump, juicy berries are destined for Marionette M?re?a bright, herbaceous liqueur that tastes like summer on the vine.
No light makes it through Marionette's intensely dark blackberry liqueur. The nose is earthy and full of dark fruit aroma. Tart and almost jammy on the first sip, the sweetness quickly falls away to a glorious, complex palate of sour cherry, spice, and tannins.
Enjoy over ice, in a classic Bramble, or Blackberry Mule.
About Marionette:
Marionette was created by four Melbourne hospitality professionals wanting to celebrate Australian produce and bring liqueurs back into the spotlight. They start with fresh fruit from good people and work hard to capture every last bit of flavour from the produce. Their focus is on creating the optimal building blocks for both classic and modern cocktails?a careful balancing act of sweetness, acidity, and alcohol intensity.
Father and son, Rob and Richard Clark, have dedicated 20 years to growing the very best blackcurrants. Their traditional White Bud variety thrives in Tasmania?s cool climate. The fruit is small yielding but high in acidity, antioxidants, and anthocyanins. Flavourful and distinct, Rob and Richard?s powerful little berries sing in Marionette?s Dry Cassis.
More tart than traditional cassis, Marionette Dry Cassis delivers the luscious flavour and intense colour of ripe blackcurrants with around half the sugar of the French original. A viscous mouthfeel is balanced by refreshingly-zingy acidity?it?s Ribena for grown-ups!
Enjoy in a Kir Royal, El Diablo, or simply over ice.
