The Barry White of beers - deep and bassy. Stoke Dark is one of our highest rating brews on the beer blogs. Hints of sweet caramel and molasses mix with the unmistakable bitterness of fresh coffee and roasted malt. It has a brilliant aroma. Bold and inviting, the opaque appearance is interrupted only by the subtle mahogany tinge.

The perfect companion for a sun-drenched Tuesday afternoon. Or any other day for that matter. Session beers were first brewed for their low alcohol content and uncompromised flavour, the result of lofty tax rates and government rationing during WWI. But low alcohol doesn?t have to mean less flavour, and the Nelson Pale Ale certainly isn?t lacking in any of the good stuff.
Riwaka and Galaxy hops provide a strong, clean bitterness that makes this aromatic session ale easy drinking and refreshing.

Using an extended cold conditioning period and extra-pale malt for that nutty finish, this is a unique spin on the classic pilsner. Crisp and sharp with the right amount of bitterness, Stoke Pilsner has an aromatic sauvin hop finish, grassy notes and fresh aroma evoking images of classic Kiwi summers.

We found inspiration in the southern hemisphere for this year's anniversary beer. This double IPA is brewed with Peacharine and Riwaka hops and a special ingredient called Phantasm - an extract from sauvignon blanc grape skins - all sourced from New Zealand. Combined with some good old-fashioned Mosaic hops from the US and an amped-up grain bill, we've got ourselves a unique sensory experience full of dankness and tropical, citrusy notes. Coming in at a smooth 9.6% in honour of the year we started: 1996

Arrogant Brewing - This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory - maybe something with a multimillion-dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multimillion-dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthing your words as you read this.

Stone Delicious IPA has been a rising star in our lineup thanks to its intense lemony-herbal flavor and aroma. That got us thinking… Why not amp up the citrus factor even more? Adding Talus hops to the mix brings in vibrant tangerine notes which are further amplified by the addition of sweet orange peel. The result is extra citrusy, extra juicy and extra Delicious.

We have had fans clamor for us to re-brew the Stone 19th Anniversary Thunderstruck IPA?..as well as an internal plea from Team Stone to be able to experience this wonderful beer one more time. Here it is! Another celebration of Hop Innovation with this being a focus on our grower friends down under. An amazing Double IPA that?s well worth a Southern Hemisphere return visit.
Originally released to commemorate our 19th Anniversary, this is a recipe that?s garnered constant rumblings requesting its return, as steady and powerful as the sound of a didgeridoo?
