McConnel's, 5% Creamy Vanilla Stout

McConnel?s is a full-bodied and flavoursome stout which works perfectly with the addition of vanilla. Coffee and chocolate characters are present throughout, with suggestions of raspberry. Allow this one to warm a little as you enjoy it and the complexity will increase, with hints of liquorice and hazelnut appearing.

Dark Stave: Barrel aged Imperial Stout. A solid stout base layered with oak & bourbon notes. Sweet, dark fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, a touch of balsamic and a teasing sweetness.

Three Boys - In this Imperial Version of our famous Oyster Stout, we double the malt, double the hops, and double the additoin of that Sout Sea delicacy - Bluff Oysters.  Let's just say it's no beer for land-lovers and should remain the special preserve of the captain's quarters.

Based on the historic stouts of London which added Oysters to add to theirperceived nutrition Three Boys annual winter release includes fresh BluffOysters which are added to boil with the hops. Pouring an inky pitch black witha healthy tan head, Oyster Stout is dry, roasty and rich with some dark fruitand the slightest hint of brine. 

At 6.2% ABV it's the ideal winter warmer forthe frosty nights we have been having. 

It's also the perfect accompaniment to afresh bluff oyster or a hearty beef and mushroom pie.

Beer of mixed fermentation, the Stout Rullquin is obtained from a blending of 7/8 of Rulles Brune (Stout de Gaume) and 1/8 of a blend of 1 year old lambics, which has matured for 8 months on oak barrels. 

Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer is refermented for 6 months in the bottle (or in the keg).

When the A.I. gods arrived, we moved our brewing operations to a deep dark corner of cyberspace. It?s okay, we?re okay. From here we continue as a virtual resistance, brewing angry, defiant beer like this dark tropical bombshell of a coconut-coffee (cc) Porter. Tastes great in real-life (what is real life?), looks good in the virtual world. The A.I. gods may be smarter, friends, but they lack the soul needed to appreciate exquisite beer brewed with passion. As you may recall, The Algorithm is our balls-to-the-wall barrel-aged Imperial Stout franchise created specifically to bring together the best minds of our generation and push the cowboy extremes of the hop universe. In Part 1 we explored time and space with Owlbert Einstein and raised your beer IQ in the process. You?re welcome for that. For this sequel, we stand on the shoulder of that intellectual giant and bring you Owlsaac Newton. Aged for a year in Armagnac casks, Owlsaac merges the brandy?s distinctive flavors of dried fruit, sweet spices, vanilla and French oak with Imperial Stout?s roasted coffee and nuts. This blockbuster beer totally explodes the Hollywood myth that sequels can never be as good as their originals. We dare anyone who doubts us to or the laws of gravity to have a sip and say Yippeekiyay mother?!

For this enchanted Schwarzwalder Kirsch stout we made like Repunzel and let down our hair in Germany?s enchanted Black Forest. You know, the grim fairy-tale settings for Grimm Brother self-flagellation and fun? Well, those Black Forest fairies also know how to distill a mean sharp-nosed cherry liquor known as Schwarzwalder Kirsch. Dark and murky with a touch of vanilla and raison around the edges, this distinctive chilly weather sweet stout is best sipped in castles amongst cuckoo clocks. A tart, puckery fairy-tale capable of knocking the dirndl off of Sleeping Beauty, that girl Gretel and every wicked Grimm Gros- mutter every put to paper.

Hey bud, take a hit of this rich, velvety oatmeal stout - it?s a beaut! This beer is smooth and decadent with big notes of toffee, caramel and maple syrup with a dusting of ground pecans bringing out that sweet, nutty finish. Delicious!
