Nose: Cream-toffee and honeycomb. Vanilla and other gentle oaky tones waft through. Brilliant. Palate: Subtle spices warm the palate only for the honey to calm things down again. Sweetcorn, and brilliant, toasty brown-sugared depth. Finish: Some deft rye; the oak adds dryness. Deep amber in colour with rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate, marzipan and toasted oak on the nose. To taste it is a full bodied mix of vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit and spices. ABV: 43.2%

Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, Woodford Reserve is a Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it the malt whiskey for bourbon drinkers.

The base of 51 % malt results in a whiskey that is richly flavorful and complex and amplifies the nutty characteristics found in the original Woodford Reserve.

Made in the traditional style of Kentucky Ryes, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey delivers bold flavors of pepper and tobacco with a long fruit and sweetly spiced finish.

Nose: Spicy with distinct notes of rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark sweetened with a dusting of marzipan. Hints of pear, apple and almond dance in its depths.

Taste: Clove, rye, mint, molasses, sorghum and honey mingle together with hints of apple and malt.

The 2018 Master’s Collection Select American Oak Kentucky Bourbon has been matured in one specific terroir sourced oak - Ozark. This Ozark Oak was selected for its terroir’s fast-growing characteristics. Having barrels that share a common wood structure gives this special batching of Woodford Reserve a distinct nutty and sweet aromatic character that will remind you of warm baked goods.

Color: Peruvian Brown

Aroma: Crisp yeasty and bready notes mingle with soft oak, vanilla, milk chocolate and marzipan. Walnut, pecans and Fall leaves bring the oak tannins forward.

Taste: Soft nutty character and a sip of sweet tea bring a deep hint of peach and cocoa powder to life.

Finish: Long and warm with a hint of wood spice.

Based on historical recipes it has aromas of cinnamon and cooked fruit with light floral notes. The taste is of spiced applesauce and coconut with earthy notes. There is a dry, subtle finish.
