The second in the line of inaugural releases from Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran. This heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky was distilled twice, before maturing for two and a half years in bourbon casks, and finishing for six months in custom made oloroso sherry Firkin casks. Bottled in 2022 at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no additional colour, Batch 2 gives us promising signs of things to come from the folks at Lagg.
Aromas of smouldering camp bonfires, a touch of milk chocolate, dried vine fruits, and cacao nibs. Earthy peat smoke on the palate is joined by silky caramel, dried prunes, and warm cinnamon. Bonfire smoke lingers, along with gentle tannins, and baking spices.

We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday 18th December at 5 am for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and the Tuesday19th December at 10am for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December.
