A velvety milk stout, brewed with oats, organic cocoa powder and cocoa nibs. This decadent combination is apparent on both aroma and taste, with earthy cocoa and dark berryfruit leading into a creamy, sweet finish balanced with a touch of bitterness.
An apt companion for the Winter season, we think that this beer will also make a perfect dessert with the addition of a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
For this years release of our Chocolate Stout we've used cacao nibs and cocoa husks from Lucid Chocolatier for a smooth chocolate hit, and oats for velvety texture

42 Below is distilled three times from non-genetically engineered wheat. After that, natural spring water (whose source hails from an extinct volcanic region) is used as a wash before a final distillation and a trip through 35 different filters. The result is a smooth vodka free of the majority of impurities.
Kasteel - Kasteel Rouge is based on our Kasteel Donker. This fruity beer makes a great aperitif on a sunny terrace. It’s certainly a beer for lovers of sweet cherries with an intense aroma of the fruit. The cherries get the better of the malt in the Kasteel Donker mother beer, although it contributes touches of chocolate and pepper to remind you it’s there. It is surprisingly easily digestible for quite a strong beer.

Piraat triple hop is a balanced, complex brew with defined hop character. Brouwerij Van Steenberge uses the famous Piraat ale as the base providing the brew with a full-bodied fruity flavor from the malt blended with dry characteristics derived from the high levels of alcohol. Then, four different hops are added into the brew three times during the brewing process (hence triple hop).
The hops pitched are saaz, tetra and aurora twice in the brew house and then cascade is used to dry hop. These four hop styles deliver a complex character, which stands up to the great name of Piraat.
