ABOUT HERRADURA
Born in 1870, Casa Herradura is the last true tequila producing Hacienda on the planet. Within its ancient walls, we craft and estate bottle some of the finest tequilas anyone has ever tasted. It is here that we invented the first reposado and extra a?ejo, forever changing the world of tequila. And it is here, from the small town of Amatit?n in the heart of Mexico?s tequila region, that we continue to set the standard for what?s to come.
TASTING NOTE:
Made from 100% blue agave, without barrel aging to reflect a fresh tequila flavour. Crystal-clear in colour with aroma of robust notes of sweet agave, green pepper, citrus and a hint of herbs and spice. Smooth, complex and prolonged presence with a bold tequila finish for true tequila lovers.
The Pepper name goes way back in terms of bourbon production, back to 1776. Even James E. Pepper nick-named the whiskey 'Old 1776'. However, in the latter half of the 1900s, the James E. Pepper name, along with Old 1776 became heard from less and less.
But now, the folks at Georgetown Trading Co. have assumed stewardship of the 1776 brand and proudly brought it back to the spotlight. After plenty of research into the whiskey from years past, including recipes and actual bottles from pre, mid and post Prohibition days, they have relaunched the 1776, starting with this straight bourbon, made with a mash-bill that features over 38% rye and bottled at 50% ABV.
Nose: Zesty citrus, oak-y resin touches, vanilla pod sweetness and a good kick of rye.
Palate: Honey notes open up the palate, giving way to soft vanilla, fruity orange and dark chocolate.
Finish: Very long, with rye bread and cinnamon spice lingering.
1776 Straight Rye Whiskey comes from the James E. Pepper brand, a name that has long been known in the American whiskey world, though not as much recently as it was in the early 1900s. Happily, the 1776 brand has been relaunched and the James E. Pepper legend lives on! This straight rye is made with a mash-bill featuring 90% rye and has been bottled at 50% ABV.
Nose: Big, spicy wafts of rye, with hints of clove and cinnamon underneath.
Palate: Orange zest, heavy rye bread and subtle oak influence.
Finish: Long and very spicy.

Having barrels that share a common wood structure gives this special batching of Woodford Reserve a distinct nutty and sweet aromatic character that will remind you of warm baked goods.
Color: Peruvian Brown
Aroma: Crisp yeasty and bready notes mingle with soft oak, vanilla, milk chocolate and marzipan. Walnut, pecans and Fall leaves bring the oak tannins forward.
Taste: Soft nutty character and a sip of sweet tea bring a deep hint of peach and cocoa powder to life.
Finish: Long and warm with a hint of wood spice.

Strong Belgian type ale similar to a Port wine ! Is as dark as can be, mellow in taste with an aroma of ripe fruits. It can be compared to an old porto and is brewed from well roasted malt.
Brewed with roasted malt, this beer has a rich, smooth texture, and bottle conditioning gives it a very distinctive flavour. It has an aroma of ripe fruit and a pleasant aftertaste that lingers like old port wine. It is excellent with pasta as well as game meat and wild fowl, and enhances the flavour of desserts like chocolate mousse and fruit salad.

A wine from the Montecucco appellation in Tuscany which was only recently promoted to DOCG despite having made wine since the time of the Etruscans in the 8th century. Montecucco is located between Montalcino, and Scansano, and benefits from warm a microclimate similar to both these regions. ColleMassari is now the major estate of the region and produced its first vintage in 2000.
This is a gutsy wine made with 80% Sangiovese, 10% Ciliegiolo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Spontaneous fermentation was followed by a three to four week maceration before the wine was racked off into a combination of 40 litre oak vats and smaller oak tonneaux where it was further aged for 18 months.
100% Cabernet Franc from the Saumur Champigny appellation of Central Loire. The vines average 45 years of age and are planted in red silty clay soil over a limestone base with a warmer west facing exposition Very fleshy and perfumed yet fine. Gives immediate pleasure with ripe expressive red fruits showing very good depth and complexity. Pure pleasure and a joy to drink young.
For Vintage Ale 2018 we've stayed close to home; all of our ingredients have been sourced from the UK. Tropical citrus and apricot flavours take center stage, delivered by Ernest and Olicana hops. Pale ale malt from the finest Maris Otter barley combines with Crystal malt to give the beer a rich biscuit sweetness. As with every Vintage Ale, the flavours of this beer will develop for many years to come, like a fine wine or whisky.
