The Glenlivet - This whisky has been called a lot of things in its time: smooth, fruity, complex, sophisticated, entertaining, classic. The Original Malt Whisky Almanac says: ?A first-class malt. One of the most popular malts in the world ? deservedly so.? Representing The Glenlivet?s signature style, this classic malt is first matured in traditional oak, before spending time in American oak casks which impart notes of vanilla and gives the whisky it?s distinctive smoothness. The mineral-rich water that comes from Josie?s Well helps form the flavours during mashing and fermentation, whilst the specific height and width of the copper stills add a delicate yet complex character. Keep a bottle on hand for every occasion.
Well-balanced and fruity, with strong pineapple notes
The central, and entry level release in the Elgin Classic range from Glen Moray distillery. Very easy to drink, this stuff offers up hints of soft citrus and barley.

Palate: Oak, gentle. Well balanced, walnut, grist. Citrus, lemon sponge.
Finish: Tangy citrus, spicy fruitcake.
Founded in 1898 by WM. Teacher & Sons, The Ardmore distillery has continued to uphold traditional distilling methods, using only the aromatic smoke from natural, Highland peat fires to dry its malted barley.
This is matured in quarter casks, barrels and puncheons, hence the name, and these various casks have imparted plenty of fruit and caramel flavours.
This exceptionally balanced single malt is matured in three different types of oak cask. First fill American oak barrels bring sweet caramel notes, tempered with hints of warm spices from ex-sherry casks, whilst traditional oak casks impart subtle depth. The result is a smooth malt, with delicate spice and sweet treacle toffee notes.
Please note that this product ships from our Hamilton warehouse and will take 2-3 days for delivery and for click and collection.
The Benriach 25 year old is aged in a combination of three different cask types: oloroso, bourbon and virgin oak.
Nose: Well-aged, aromatic, floral. Peppery, vanilla. Interesting touch of salinity.
Palate: Lots of fruit, particularly luscious stone fruit. Almonds and cocoa, spice.
Finish: Dry, rich complexity.
This gorgeous ruby red malt has been bottled at 48% matured for over nine years in American Oak Barrels. It was then re-racked into Ruby Port Wood Pipes. The secondary maturation develops the flavour, depth and complexity and adds a vibrant, rich colour. Regular monitoring ensures we achieve the perfect balance between port and malt whilst preserving the whisky characteristics.
From Batch 2 of the GlenAllachie Wood Finish Range.
A fusion of unique and rare elements, and clouded in secrecy, Signet is the culmination of a lifetime's experience. A blend of our oldest whisky and spirit matured in a selection of the world's finest casks, this undoubtedly is the richest whisky in the Glenmorangie range.
Of course, whilst the exact secrets of its production are known only to our whisky creators, we can tell you that Signet's melting sweetness and explosive spiciness is, at least in part, caused by our unique roasted 'chocolate' barley malt and the 'designer casks' made bespoke for Glenmorangie from American white oak. Non chill-filtered
A 2019 addition to the GlenAllachie core range, this 15 year old single malt was treated to a finishing period in sherry casks before bottling. The casks in question were a combination puncheons and hogsheads that previously held Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry. Master distillery Billy Walker described this expression as having an "exceptional balance of the distillery's spirit and the influence of the Sherry casks used during maturation." We'd have to agree.
Nose: Peanut brittle, dates and a big scoop of chocolate ice cream.
Palate: Walnut, raisin, Christmas spices and fresh ginger.
Finish: Coffee, Turkish delight and just a hint of flaky sea salt.
Whisky explorers searching for a glimpse into the spirit of BenRiach distillery have the chance to experiment with this emerging Speyside single malt in its most non-diluted form, with the release of BenRiach Cask Strength Batch 2. Following on from the successful release of Cask Strength Batch 1, BenRiach distillery Master Blender Rachel Barrie has hand-picked a small selection from 2006, 2007 and 2008 to create this rich, smooth, triple-cask matured expression.
This single malt continues BenRiach's reputation for rich, innovative cask maturation by combining cask strength whisky matured in bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks and virgin oak hogsheads. It has a richer and smoother taste profile to its award-winning predecessor, BenRiach Cask Strength ? Batch 1, which won a Silver Outstanding award at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2016.
Bright polished gold in colour.
The nose shows bright vanilla syrup and poached pears, dusted with sweet barley grist, that combine with oak spice and candied peel to create a warm contrast.
Ripe yellow plums and nectarines on the palate infuse with vanilla, ginger and tangerine peel leading to wild flower honey and stewed barley
The finish is exceptionally luscious and long with rich, dark sugars and warm oak spice thanks to the dark rum cask. A truly exceptional example of the marriage between cask, maturation and spirit.
