Belgian Beer
The highly subtle, elegant and gentle flavour of Traditional Oude Geuze, VAT 91, is due to foeder no. 91, which used to serve as a calvados cask in Nomandy.
Now this foeder produces an excellent, gentle Lambic, which is just perfect for Traditional Oude Geuze. VAT 91 is soft, full bodied, complex and well balanced.
The unique oval shape of foeder no. 91 provides optimal use of warehouse space.

Oakwood, complex and perfectly balanced, with smoky and spicy touches.
This traditional Oude Geuze is the favorite of our team of tasters. Its is pleasantly full bodied, complex and has a few smoky and spicy touches. These unique flavours are due to the oak cask, which used to be used by red wine makers in France's Rh?ne Valley.
The oak leaves a clear mark on the general taste, adding an extremely welcome touch to the Lambic's aroma.
8% ABV.
VAT 110 owes its slightly dry but very full-bodied flavor, with a hint of vanilla and dry fruit, thanks to foeder no. 110.
This foeder used to serve as a cognac cask and has been used as a Lambic cask by our brewery since 2009. This Traditional Old Geuze is characterised by a wealth of flavours that developed from by the Brettanomyces yeast strains in the cask.

Our brewmaster, Jef Versele, crafted this exclusive Gulden Draak Brewmasters Edition as a tribute to his grandfather Jozef Van Steenberge and the 230th birthday of the brewery.
His inspiration came from his numerous trips to the United States and his deepest respect for the craft beer culture. This exclusive Gulden Draak combines the technology and the craftsmanship of the traditional brewing process.
By letting the beer mature on whiskey barrels it gives it a distinctive and gentle finish that you have never tasted before.
10.5% ABV.
Only made every few years. 400 grams of cherry per litre is fermented together with the beer before being aged in oak casks. The result is a sour, fruity and well balanced beer with depth and complexity.

Moinette Brune is the roasted malt version of the beloved Moinette Blonde.
With gently sweet, almost fruity bouquet, full malt body and dry bracing finish, it's delicious before a meal and with roasted meats, chops and steaks.

Big Chouffe is a magnum (1.5 litre) bottling of the famous La Chouffe ale. La Chouffe is a strong Belgian blonde ale. The nose features lots of spice, citrus notes and stonefruit. On the palate the beer is rich and spicy with a lasting tangy finish.

8% ABV.
Based on their blonde ale, this dark-red cherry beer has a pink, compact head, a soft aroma of almond and sour cherries, and tastes tangy and fruity. Sweet and sour are perfectly balanced in this beer.

Lindemans Appel blends the juice of several varieties of apples with their delicious lambic ale. The tasting experience, which is quite exceptional, combines the sweetness of cider with the sourness of lambic.
3.5% ABV
Extra 4 is a classic Belgian ?Single? style, light golden in color, full of flavor and character and brewed with more hops and bitterness in comparison to the other well known St Bernardus abbey ales.
Extra 4 will be brewed with high fermentation and bottled conditioned with an ABV of 4.8%.

La Trappe Quadrupel is the heaviest ale of La Trappe Trappist ales and is eponymous of this ale style. A full, warming and intensive taste. Malty with the sweet tones of date and caramel.
10% ABV.
Leffe Bruin is a traditional Belgian abbey beer with a deep brown colour and a full, sweet and fruity aroma. Ingredients include dark and torrefied malt, corn, water, hops and yeast.
A deep brown coloured beer with reddish tones and a thick light-tan coloured head. This beer smells somewhat nutty and the taste starts with a slightly hoppy bite, followed up by the sweetness of brown sugar. The beer is lightly carbonated and is very smooth, making it easy to drink.
6.5% ABV
Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. The acidity of Lambic beers blends perfectly with raspberries. Taste: Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean natural taste.
Tasting Notes
Profound raspberry and sugar aroma. Plum and pink color with thin head and decent lacing. Malty intro with some carbonation evident in the mouth. Initial raspberry flavor is subtle and smooth on the tongue but soon becomes bittersweet in the aftertaste. Made a raspberry shortcake once with this beer and raspberries and it was pretty good!
