This beer began its life as one of our Beerhouse concept brews. The Helmet brand is a nod to Clayton's father, a former policeman who also liked to dabble in homebrewing. A hoppy punch in the bobby's helmet that will leave you hurting for more.

Brewed especially for the 15th Annual West Coast IPA Challenge at Malthouse in Wellington. The theme was classic rock songs & the name seemed appropriate given the insane times we currently live in!

The latest release in our ongoing series of foraged flower and fruit beers.
Freshly foraged cherry blossoms are immersed in a light golden wort, sparking a spontaneous fermentation solely using the wild yeast present on the cherry blossoms themselves. Aged in oak and refermented on a bed of sweet cherries, the resulting drop is a delightfully tart and explosively vibrant red sparkling beer bursting with ripe cherry flavour, sitting at a delectable 9.1%. Oh how lovely.

When you want more than a pretty good beer, reach for an Extra Special Bitter. A classic British ale that'll transport you to a London pub as soon as you get a waft of the toffee aroma. It's all about the balance between the sweet biscuity malt and the hop bitterness. Despite the name, it's not extra bitter - more smooth, mellow, and (you've got it) special.
5.5 % ABV.
Here it is, at last. A long overdue Otago collaboration between Emerson?s and Altitude Brewing. We kept things proudly southern, brewed in Dunedin with barley farmed at Royalburn Station on the Crown Range, and hops grown down in Garston then there were a couple of locally-foraged blokes by the name of Menzies. Altitude brewer Elliot, and Emerson?s sales guy Greg. The result is a harmony of intense gooseberry and peach flavours, with notes of citrus. Nice work, boyz

Tonka Bean Cream Ale is refreshing, light and dry with notes of orange zest and marmalade from the hops and flavours of vanilla, almond, cherry and cinnamon from the tonka beans. This is an unfiltered beer so there may some haze or sediment.
5.2% ABV.
Charm Quark is an unfiltered extra pale ale made with Idaho7 and Zythos hops. Softy biscuit malts and citrusy and floral hops round out this exceptional beer. It is refreshing and very drinkable!

Melusina Sea Buckthorn Gose is a sour for sour lovers. Sea salt & seaweed create a umami base, followed by notes of citrus hops and a huge pop of sea buckthorn, a beautifully tart berry sometimes called the Lemon of the North.
4.4% ABV.
Beyond the Pale, a Garage tradition celebrating New Zealand's own fantastic Fringe Festival with a very special avant garde offering. We love Fringe here at GP, it such a unique opportunity for us to really push the boat out and play with flavours and concepts a little further afield. It's an annual voyage that always leads us somewhere unexpected, challenging, delicious and sure- a little outrageous. Just the way we like it.
For this year?s devised delight we present Popper, our salted popcorn, wasabi and lime lager. A delightfully delicious, risqu? refreshment with a spicy, citrus twist. We'll see you 'out there'. Until next time,
