A very special Pinot Noir with layers of complexity, a silky texture and delicate concentrated red fruit, earth and spice flavours. This lovely wine is made in miniscule quantities from this country's smallest wine region, the Waitaki Valley, where the Clos Caroline Vineyard is situated. This stunning vineyard site is walled with (and full of) limestone; that mercurial rock that makes for extremely healthy Pinot Noir vines.
This wine is a must try for Pinot Noir devotees.
Oud Beersel Oude Kriek is an artisanal product, made from real cherries and Oud Beersel lambic matured in old barrels. They are slowly absorbed into the lambic, which develops a fruity character and a ruby red colour. Oud Beersel Oude Kriek is unique of its type in that it contains around 400 grams of cherries per litre. Oud Beersel Oude Kriekhas no added sugar and contains no artificial flavourings or preservatives.
the Oud Beersel Oude Kriek has a pleasant sourness of champagne. The real cherries unveil an overwhelming fruitiness and the touch of almonds of the pip completes the joy. The spontaneous re-fermentation marries the cherries with the lambic and form together a pleasant tasting experience.

Meet Ox Hardy Shiraz; an elegant spicy and ripe black plummy wine with beautiful structure, which is made with grapes grown in Blewitt Springs in McLaren Vale, south of Adelaide, where sea breezes cool down the vines. Following harvest, the fruit was destemmed and crushed into fermenters with inoculated yeasts and gentle extraction of colour, tannin and flavour. The wine was drained off and the skins bag-pressed before being transferred to French Oak second fill barriques and three new hogsheads. It aged for 18 months in oak before being bottled with minimal filtration.
Ox Hardy is the brainchild of founder Andrew Hardy, whose nickname is Ox and whose great great grandfather was Thomas Hardy; the father of the South Australian wine industry.
At the end of the 19th century, wines from Tarragona enjoyed great prestige internationally. At that time, our Padró ancestors were making liqueur wines in the style of the “great wines” of the time: Port, Sherry or Sauternes, among others. In 1947, these fortified wines were the first to be regulated within the Tarragona Denominación de Origen or Appellation and were given the name Tarragona Clásicos.
VINIFICATION
We wanted to make a vermouth using a sweet Tarragona Clásico-style liqueur wine aged for 5 years in 7,000-litre oak vats and which we have been using at the winery for generations. We add a small amount of this wine to the solera wine in the final vermouth coupage together, of course, with our special touch of vermouth herbs.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Intense and striking. Powerful aromas from the prolonged ageing: dried figs, roasted hazelnuts and green walnuts
Mouth: Warm and rich at the beginning, giving way to liquorice and medicinal herbs, encased in sweet notes, and a bitter tang.
Vermouth made from a unique infusion of aromatic herbs and aged in the barrel before bottling at our winery.

Fabulous vintage (one of the best ever) in Martinborough for Pinot Noir and this is the flagship wine of the Wairarapa Wine Region and one of the best. Earthy, dark plums and cherries sit in a wine with lifted earthy aromas on the finish. A special wine for now and for the cellar.
Drinks beautifully now and can age for up to a decade.
BIRDSEYE
Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.
