Sinaasappel & Limoen offers a refreshing experience with strong citrus aromas through the use of orange and lime peels and a subtle salty touch of sea salt. The beer is characterized by a sour character, a hazy appearance due to the use of wheat and a medium to light body, resulting in a smooth drinking experience. Yet again, a classic DVB bear-beer pun. The goals aside from fun and flavour? We wanted a sour beer that would be just as good for Winter as Summer. Cola seemed like a great direction for an abstract and fun challenge, so we got our thinking caps on and the result is an adult version of that familiar flavour we all know and love!

FLAVOURS | Well, aside from being a sour, which obviously has a bit lower of a PH, we have balanced it with cola flavours and a bit of sweetness from lactose. As with the Cherry, we knew we needed to use real fruit, so get ready to take a bath in Real Raspberry and Cola.

Duchesse Cherry is a blend of 1 and 2 year-old Duchesse de Bourgogne with local, sour cherries added to the maturing beer. The malt beverage is aged in oak casks, and utilizing whole cherries from the Limburg region of Belgium, as opposed to cherry syrup that is sometimes used in cherry beer production, Duchesse Cherry truly lives up to its name

Back Block Wild Sour 6.7%
Wildflower ale, spontaneous fermented using only the wild yeast from freshly foraged m?nuka flowers, aged in oak barrels and then blended with a batch of fresh beer ?hopped? with m?nuka tips. The result is a deliciously drinkable dark ale, with a delicately tart citrus, floral, honey flavour and a light, spicy m?nuka twist. Go wild. Brewed for the Hokitika Wild Foods festival.
Crisp, aromatic, effervescent refreshment. Fizz Palace, a unique blend of New Zealand grown malts, white wheat, Nelson Sauvin hops and Phantasm Thiol powder, naturally soured and fermented to create a beer that’s low in alcohol but positively fizzing over with crushed passionfruit, gooseberry and feijoa aromatics, bright, fruity flavour and fresh citrus acidity. All the flavour and refreshment you could want - without the heavy alcohol. It’s a fun time at Fizz Palace.

A blend of barrel and foeder aged beers, infused with the finest Opal Star, Kakapo and Pounamu feijoas, sourced directly from Unicorn Farms in the Motueka Valley. Loaded with over 300g/l of fruit, the finished beer has a light yellow green blush, stunning guava and grape like aromatics and a lush tart fruit palate.
