A 15 year old single malt from Highland distillery Aberfeldy, part of its Red Wine Cask Collection. This limited edition bottling has been finished in cabernet sauvignon wine casks from the Napa Valley in California, aka 'wine country'. Beautifully rich, with plenty of sweet red fruit notes making their way from the wood to the whisky.
Produced at one of the most remote distilleries in Scotland, this is the core release from Ardnamurchan.
Once again, the talented team have kept the distilleries signature lightly peated style with a combination of casks. The nose reminds us of enjoying a quiet picnic on the beach. Starting with apricots and zesty oranges, there's a touch of chocolate and a handful of Brazil nuts. The palate sees salty taffy, lemonade and Christmas cake being passed around the rug. Finally, a warming bonfire has been lit on the palate to round off this classic West Coast single malt.
Filled from casks that were laid down at the Tomatin distillery in 2009, this new 'Discovery' release from G&M sees the exclusive use of American oak ex-bourbon barrels to produce a sweet and smooth single malt. The nose is intense with honey and fragrant pear, with a background note of spring blossoms. The palate is fruity with melon and white peach, leading to vanilla custard and a herbal finish that builds softly with oak spice.
An 11 year old Glenrothes which has been bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Discovery bottling series. The series separates single malts into three categories, 'Sherry', 'Smoky' or 'Bourbon' to give a (not so subtle) clue to its flavour profile. This is a wonderful sherried whisky, packed full of fruity and chocolatey notes.
Nose Cinnamon butter, chocolate covered toffee and toasted malt, with sherried dried fruit and more baking spices.
Palate Forest fruit jam on fresh toast, perhaps slightly burnt, with stewed orchard fruit and more cinnamon.
Finish Orange peel, a hint of raisin and melted dark chocolate.
The Tomatin 21 Years Bourbon Barrels is a single malt whiskey from the Highlands. It spent its 21 years of barrel aging entirely in first fill ex-bourbon barrels. The distillery bottled it exclusively for travel retail. The alcohol content is 46.0 percent by volume. The whisky also impresses with its natural color and does not require chill filtration.
Nosing: The nose of the whisky has notes of green apples and lemons. It also brings notes of vanilla and butterscotch.
Tasting: The Tomatin 21 Years feels soft and creamy on the tongue. It tastes of dark chocolate and vanilla. Green apples and pineapple come through. Candied ginger and chocolate introduce the finish.
Finish: The finish is long-lasting. The whisky says goodbye with notes of cocoa. Tropical fruits are present. Spicy pepper lingers after drinking
This is a blended Scotch whisky from Loch Lomond Distillery. The product is married and finished, or as they say, ?further matured in our 100 barrel solera?. The solera system combines sherry casks and American oak casks that have been recharred.
Nose: Soft and delicate. Fruity with a mild oakiness. Dried fruits and a hint of spices.
Taste: Medium body and creamy mouthfeel. Softly burnt notes of caramel and coffee. Dark chocolate and vanilla. Earthy and dry notes of cinnamon.
Finish: Medium long finish. Coffee beans and cocoa nibs. Malt and vanilla. Oak with a mild green touch in the end.

Elevated over 15 years of maturation in European oak sherry casks and a process notable for its continuous movement, VAT 03 distinctly embodies the Glenfiddich pioneering spirit. Resulting from Solera VAT 3, this silky-smooth full-bodied whisky harmoniously combines warm notes of spice with hints of nutty marzipan and dark sherry oak. A satisfyingly rich and sweet Glenfiddich for connoisseurs.
Colour - Golden with reddish hue.
Nose - Intriguingly complex aroma with sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits.
Taste - Silky smooth, revealing layers sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full bodied and bursting with flavour.
The finish is satisfyingly rich with lingering sweetness.
A sherried Glenfiddich originally released for the distillery's travel exclusive Perpetual collection, this single malt was aged in Spanish Sherry casks. Intriguingly, only half the whisky in the vat is bottled before it's refilled with fresh spirits, in the style of classic Spanish sherry soleras, meaning there is always a well-balanced mix of well-aged and young whisky.
Polished leather, freshly-baked fruitcake, bittersweet marmalade, and toasted oak on the nose.
The palate is silky, sweet, and spicy, with peppery fresh oak, cigar box, and well-toasted bread.
