An exciting new limited edition release from the Ardnamurchan distillery sees their peated and unpeated whisky matured in a medley of ex-sherry casks. The reddish, mahogany colour shows the woods influence, offering up both sweet and savoury tones with flavours of salted peanut brittle, sticky spare ribs and rich raisin slice. A complex and gentle coastal peat smoke pokes through at times, with notes reminiscent of old fireplaces and sea-side tarry rope.
This new blend from Adelphi takes its name from long-time collaborator and whisky legend Charles Maclean (MBE), and by pure coincidence, a rocky landmark known as 'Maclean's nose' near the Ardnamurchan distillery. This is an old-fashioned style of blend - a very high proportion of single malt is used (70%) predominantly from the west coast of Scotland, giving this whisky a flavour of burnt citrus peel, sea salt toffee and bonfires by the beach.
Created exclusively for travellers, our spicy and deep Elementa celebrates our skills in wood finishing, an art which brings new depths of flavour to our whisky.
First we mature our signature spirit in American oak bourbon casks to create smoothness and fruity notes. We then finish this single malt in the finest new charred oak casks, bringing forth a 14-year-old whisky of woody depth and intense spice, available exclusively in travel retail.
Nose: Spiced toffee bursts forth with scents of fresh grass, milk chocolate and deep layers of vanilla. Then deep, woody notes emerge with hints of clove and orange.
Palate: An intensely spicy mouthfeel brings a surge of dark ginger chocolate and fondant cream, with more clove, ginger and baked peaches.
Finish: A delicious balance of sweetness and spice, with a lingering suggestion of cumin.
Despite being owned by blenders, MacDonald & Muir, for most of the 20th century, Glenmorangie had an early focus on bottling its single malt. Some records show that its single malt was being sold as early as the late 19th century. This became the distillery's main output in 1959, and with the unique flavours derived from Scotland's tallest stills, coupled with their pioneering use of wood finishing, Glenmorangie is now one of the world's biggest selling malts. As a result, the distillery portfolio over the years has been extensive, and little has been spared for independent bottlers.
The Accord is part of a trio of travel retail releases from Glenmorangie that also featured The Tribute and The Elementa. All three were exclusively launched at Dubai airport in October 2019 before being rolled out globally in 2020.
This 12 year old expression has been matured in both bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
Patiently aged in oloroso sherry and bourbon casks for 18 years, our most distinguished solera whisky is married and continuously transformed in solera vat 4 to deliver a deep, rich aroma of robust oak, ripe orchard fruit and baked apple.
A luxuriously fruity and exceptionally rewarding glenfiddich.

Coming Together in Celebration
Telling the story of Scotland’s world-famous Hogmanay festivities celebrated annually on 31st December, A Night on Earth in Scotland captures the universal joy of celebrating the change of year.
This seasonal release is a collaboration with acclaimed Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn, whose artwork has featured in director Wes Anderson’s films.
The single malt is presented in unique packaging to provide a special unboxing experience and Dorn’s playful abstract illustrations are inspired by the historic fire rituals dominant in New Year celebrations around the world.
Hogmanay Tradition
Hogmanay, pronounced "hog·muh·nei”, is Scotland’s renowned New Year’s Eve festivities. Erica Dorn’s bespoke designs reveal some of the distinctive customs of Scotland’s Hogmanay, including the act of ‘first footing’ when it is good luck for a dark-haired visitor to be the first person to cross the threshold of your home after the stroke of midnight.
According to tradition, the ‘first footer’ will carry three things: shortbread, whisky and coal for the fire. Each gift is designed to bring comfort and happiness to your home for the rest of the year. Shortbread is also a prominent flavour in the whisky.
Festive Flavours
A Night on Earth in Scotland is created from a selection of The Macallan’s exceptional American and European oak sherry seasoned casks, along with American ex-bourbon barrels to deliver its rich, sweet shortbread-like character. A whisky referencing the rich Scottish delicacy traditionally gifted and eaten at Hogmanay, punctuated by festive notes of dried orange and spice.
A Perfect Pairing: Sip neat with shortbread on the side.
