Singleton of Dufftown 12 Bottling Note - straightforward, nutty and malty single malt from Speyside, the Singleton of Dufftown was released to replace the Singleton of Auchroisk. It's aged in a high proportion of European oak casks.

A bottling that's a perfect introduction for those who are new to single malts, the Singlton of Dufftown Malt Master's Selection was created by The Singleton master of malts Craig Wilson. He hand-selected and blended the whisky before it was maturated in European and American oak casks with three variants; ex-wine, ex-sherry and ex-bourbon.

• Nose: Soft orchard fruit esters develop into boiled apple candies. White pepper begins to crackle through golden syrup and buttered bread, with a little marzipan icing in the backdrop.
• Palate: A slightly oily palate carries more sweet notes of rich toffee, vanilla and a suggestion of pear drops. A green, grassy undertone lingers throughout as a youthful, vibrant spice prickles away.
• Finish: The spice dissipates among more vanilla and a little wood ash.

Golden apple, peaches in cream, honeysuckle, and tangerine abound on the nose of this delicate whisky. The palate is light and airy, with more stone fruits, honey, and hints of walnut covered in milk chocolate. Smooth and sensational.

Green Spot Chateau Montelena Finish is a Rich and spicy triple-distilled pot-still whiskey from Midleton is initially aged in bourbon and sherry casks before being finished for 12 months in casks that used to hold rich red Zinfandel wine from the famed Chateau Montelena in California's Napa Valley. Montelena was bought by Irishman Jim Barrett in the 1970s, and this release celebrates the shared heritage of his wine and Midleton's fine whiskey. It's rich and spicy, with layers of marzipan and toasted oak on top of the pot-still fruit and weightiness.

Ireland's oldest whisky, Bushmills Original Irish is a blend of triple distilled malt whiskey and a lighter grain whiskey. You'll notice it's rich, smooth warming taste almost instantly. It's an easy drinking, versatile whiskey that can be enjoyed neat, over ice or with your favourite mixer.

It's the first batch of single malt Irish whisky from Waterford made using grain from Sheestown grown on a single farm by Phillip O'Brien. The Single Farm Origin series explores the impact that terroir can have on a whisky, using barley grown on single farms around Ireland. Not simply fascination, they're also very tasty expressions, which is wonderful. This particular whisky was aged in a combo of first-fill American oak casks, virgin oak casks, premium French oak casks and casks that were used to age vin doux naturel previously!Nose: Forest floor and earthy spices, balanced by wine sweetness and a hint of dark chocolate.

Nose: Honeyed barley, fresh quince and apple, with a slight hint of festive spice growing.

Palate: Melon, Seville orange and another spicy touch of crushed clove.

Finish: Lingering baking spices and butterscotch.

It's the very first release of Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish whiskey, produced by The Shed Distillery! Made with a combination of malted Irish barley, unmalted Irish barley and Irish Barra oats, this one is triple distilled and matured in a combo of Oloroso sherry casks and Kentucky bourbon casks. An impressive expression from the excellent distillers (their Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin is favourite among many), and it's said to be the first whiskey to come from Connaught in over 100 years.

Nose: Vanilla heavy, with grassy malt and honeyed porridge. A slow build of spiced fruit compote and chocolate mousse.

Palate: Christmas cake, buttered rye bread, red chilli flake, milk chocolate again and some flamed orange peel brightness.

Finish: Raisin, hazelnut spread, drying spices.

Made with a combination of malted Irish barley, unmalted Irish barley and Irish Barra oats, this one is triple distilled and matured in Pinot Noir casks from Burgundy.

Finished in first fill olorosso sherry butts this boasts rich sherried flavours of dried fruits, figs and marzipan. The Irish spirit and sherry combo leads to a highly quaffable, creamy, smooth whisky.
